Lara Hart
Lara welcomes you with a wealth of expertise, having specialized in diverse Eastern and Western massage modalities since graduating from the National Holistic Institute in 2014. With over 1,350 hours of clinical massage training and a focus on Neuromuscular Therapy, she expertly bridges the gap between wellness and medical care. Her commitment to healing led her to earn a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in 2022, following intensive clinical training in mental health, acute care and rehabilitation and pediatrics at Mount Sinai West and NYU Langone's Rusk Rehabilitation in New York City.
Combining her deep knowledge of anatomy with a heart-centered, intuitive touch, Lara creates a warm and welcoming environment for your personal recovery. Her passion for movement is rooted in her years as a modern dancer and a 200-hour Kripalu Yoga certification. When she isn't supporting students as a School Occupational Therapist within our local district, you might find her tending to her garden, cooking up something delicious, or exploring our beautiful trails on a hike. Lara feels incredibly lucky to live on San Juan Island and is so happy to serve this wonderful community she calls home.
